Here on Bible Bookshelf, I have installed a search box on my "About" page, and if you mouse over Bible references in the blog posts (such as Proverbs 16:31), you'll see a pop-up of the reference, linking to BibleGateway. I've chosen the HCSB as my text for the pop-ups, but you can install the RefTagger on your own site, with whatever version you prefer. Give it a try! They also have mobile apps, so you can read BG on your phone or tablet. If you like to read or study the Bible online, you need to be familiar with BibleGateway. This is not a paid ad...
Many readers probably already know about BibleGateway, but in case you've never checked it out, you should do so...NOW. (It's okay, I'll wait.) Welcome back. If you're wanting to search the Bible in a variety of translations in English (or other languages), BG makes it easy. They've got study tools, commentaries, dictionaries, and reading plans. And a blog to help you rediscover Scripture...Plus, you can quite easily read multiple versions in parallel (see below). I've been using BibleGateway for several years now, and I've always been impressed at how they continue to improve the site. Most of the major English versions are available, as well as a whole bunch of major versions in other languages.
