As a collector of Bibles, my love of Greek has extended to collecting several different editions of the Greek New Testament. I'd like to share a few of my favorite editions with the reader at this time.
The first edition I used, of course, was the United Bible Societies Greek NT. As I recall, I borrowed my wife's copy of the 3rd Edition, the one with the dictionary in the back. It looked like this they all do, burgundy with gold print on the cover. Pretty much exactly like this picture of the later Revised Fourth Edition:
For a short while, that UBS edition met all my needs just fine, but soon I think I realized that I was not going to learn the language well enough (any time soon) to read the Greek text on its own, and so I invested in a Greek/English Interlinear, specifically one that had the NRSV as a side column text.
